Are you happy with your emotional health, with what's going on in your head and your heart and your life? If you can't give a resounding "Yes!" in response to that question, you're definitely not alone.

Maybe things just aren't how you'd like them to be, and life drags by in a fog of vague unhappiness and dissatisfaction – it's not bad enough to reach the point of crisis, but it definitely doesn't feel good either. Maybe things got completely out of control and now you're recovering from a full-fledged mental illness. Or maybe you're just struggling with your self-doubts and your daily dramas and you'd really prefer to struggle a bit less, please!

How this website can help

I can't tell you how to fix yourself, because you're not broken. There is no pill that will make everything perfect. What I can do is share with you some strategies to improve your emotional health that actually work.

There's a lot of information out there about emotional and mental health issues – a mountain of facts and advice to sift through and try to apply. But it can be hard to find real, practical solutions, and overwhelming to deal with it all... or even know where to start.

This is my mission: To take that mess of information and ideas and distill it down into things you can do right now to become more emotionally healthy.

Even more than that, I hope to inspire you to set yourself free. Free of the destructive thoughts and emotions that you hold on to, and the judgments of others that you believe even though they hurt you. Free of the useless and wrong belief that you can't be who you want to be and that you deserve to feel bad about who you are.

I'm not going to tell you that this will be easy. It might be the hardest thing you've ever done. However, it's not the kind of hard work that breaks you; it's the kind where every step has its reward. It's not a desperate struggle; it's building something great – and building things worth building does require some work.

Making changes to build emotional wellness

Emotional health is not a destination. Just like physical health, you won't arrive at a point where suddenly you're completely healthy. Rather, it's a way that you choose to live, an ideal that you hold, and a path that you follow. This can seem overwhelming, but it's also freeing – even small steps can keep you moving towards emotional health. You don't have to do it all at once, and every little bit helps. When I look back at myself and my life even a year ago, I'm completely in awe of how much has changed due to small steps I've taken. This will happen to you too.

Finally - if you don't really want to change, you won't. If you're deliriously happy where you are, awesome! But if you're reading this website, I think that you know that something's not right. Maybe it's an obvious something, like you just got out of treatment for a mental health problem and you think you don't know who you are anymore. Or maybe you've just been feeling dissatisfied, and when you look at your life everything's okay, but you can't find the spark. Maybe you're simply sick of feeling bad all the time.

I want to help you change that, and become the person you've always dreamed of becoming.
